The Etude House Cherry Lip Gel Patch goes up there with all the other “you’re not going to look attractive while wearing this” masks.
My husband said I looked like an old Korean cartoon character while wearing it. Overall, I think this mask worked really well and delivered what it promised. Check out the review below to find out more about this product. If you want to try it out yourself, shop now at K-Beauty now here.
If you have really dry lips or live in an area where the air is very dry all the time, then I would highly recommend using this product. When I used this mask, my lips were really dry. However, after using this mask, my lips were fully hydrated. This lip patch will also be helpful during the dry, cold, long winter months.
Since this is a hydrogel patch, it has that thick jelly feeling. It’s very smooth and with the essence that is on the gel patch, it can be very slippery at times. I wish it was less slippery so that it could stick better to my skin. Lastly, it felt a little sticky after removing the patch and tapping the remaining essence in.
Applying this wasn’t too bad. The only issue I had initially was getting the patch to stick to my lips and mouth area. Since it is slippery with essence, it didn’t stick very well. However, I held it down for a minute or so and I was able to wear it while in the sitting position. That’s very uncommon for a hydrogel patch or mask. Usually you have to lay down.
Like I mentioned before, my lips were really dry prior to wearing this patch. After wearing it, my lips felt fully hydrated and plump. I’m very pleased with how quickly moisturized my lips became.
Everything about the packaging of the Cherry Lip Gel Patch is amazing! The directions, details, ingredient list, and cautions are all written fully in both Korean and English. The expiration date is clearly listed and the package is travel friendly. What’s not to love about that?!
I would recommend keeping this in a cabinet or on a shelf that isn’t exposed to direct sunlight so that the ingredients in the patch don’t get ruined.
