Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint

Etude House - Sweet Cherry Tint

I would like to recommend this product to anyone whose lips are dry and dull. Since Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint is greatly known for moisturizing and brightening up your lips, I’d probably apply it when I’m wearing light makeup so that my lips have more emphasis.

Pigmentation: 7/10

The Sweet Cherry Tint is more for giving you the perfect gloss and moisturizing lip effect. I don’t think it’s highly pigmented because the color is light and natural. It doesn’t give you that explosion of bright, vivid color that some other tints may give you. Therefore, this product might work better for those only wanting a long-lasting shiny lip tint effect or very light, natural color!

Texture: 8/10

The texture is very soft and glossy. You don’t need to press too hard to get the color to appear on your lips. It will easily apply, and you will see it shining upon each stroke. I really liked the touch of it when I first put it on because it was really soft. However, this might not always be the case for everyone. The reason why I say that is because not everyone is a go-to makeup lip tint fan like myself. Some people actually prefer matte lip products than glossy lip tints. I even have times when I want to go for a down-to-earth highly pigmented and matte look, and this Sweet Cherry Tint could be a bit too much on the glossy side.

Longevity: 7/10

The Sweet Cherry Tint will remain on your lips for quite a while. I’d say that it lasts for about 2-3 hours until the color starts to fade away. However, it’s buildable so you can simply put another layer over it to bring back the color. I love how you can just put more lip tint over the remaining without worrying that it will look cakey or greasy.

Hydration: 9/10

The hydration level for this product is outstanding. As soon as I put on the lip tint, there was a nice glossy finish that remained completely moisturized throughout the day. Sometimes, I have this tendency of wanting to touch my lips with my finger because it feels so soft, but I make sure to stop myself to keep the tinted lips (haha).

Coverage: 6/10

The coverage is pretty decent. At first, you might think that it is too vivid, but over time you realize that it fades quickly and that the gloss and moisture is all that’s left behind. Maybe a slight tint effect will define how the color appears on your lips. Therefore, if you are looking for something more bold and moisturizing at the same time, take a look at the new creamy lip tints in some stores!

Application: 9/10

All you need to do for this product is to pull open the cap and twist the bottom of the lip tint container to push the product to the top. It’s really simple, and you can use it any time and any where to make your lips glossy and moisturized. However, I would give this 9 out of 10 only because I think there’s ALWAYS room for improvement i.e. the product’s quality and the level of glossiness.

Removability: 8/10

This product can be removed by wiping it off with a wet tissue or any makeup remover. It’s really easy to take off. You don’t have to worry about carrying a lip tint remover in your pocket all the time just in case you want to use another lip product.

Packaging: 10/10

The packaging is very slim and nice. It almost feels like a skinny highlighter pen. When I open the top lid, which I just pull open, I can twist the bottom part of the tube and have the tint push up. I think the packaging is very secure and I can carry it around without having to worry that it will not fit in my makeup pouch.
