This is an essential must-know-how tip on how Korean girls seems to wear such natural blush on their cheeks but can also look so matte that it seems like the makeup is the same layer as their foundation.
Lip tints can look scary to use at first, especially with today’s technology and formulas to make the colors extra pigmented to create a HD look and it may initially feel awkward to use such bright colors for a daily look. Basically, you may be hesitant to even think of trying as it may look like you are a makeup noob. Begone that kind of thinking and learn that it’s an easy 1-2-3 step quick process!
The secret is… apply the lip tint on your prepped face BEFORE foundation. Then you cover the lip tint with foundation – this will give you the natural complexion look.
Before & After

2. innisfree – Vivid Rouge Tint (buy here)
STEP 1 – PREP THE FACE
Wash your face and do your daily skincare routing (toner, essence, then cream).
STEP 2 – APPLY LIP TINT
Apply the lip tint on the outer-cheekbone area, rater than the central part of the face to create a more vibrant and healthy look.
STEP 3 – APPLY FOUNDATION
Work on a base makeup using a long wear cushion (innisfree is highly recommended), that doesn’t wear off easily in hot summer days and able to have a light, soft finish.
Pat the cushion lightly all over the face, thinly and thoroughly – reapply where you need more coverage. Turn the cushion puff upside down and pat along your face to make the product last longer.
Cushion foundations give an extremely even distribution of the product to your skin, thus unlike liquid foundation, you won’t accidentally put more than you really need.
Cushions really come in handy in busy mornings before school or work, or when you are need to retouch your makeup!
